While studying at The Art Institute of Seattle, majority of my professors also worked at Girvin, and it allowed me the honor of learning from some of the top designers, not just in Seattle, but in the country. Years removed from graduation, I still find myself admiring their work and skillset. To have just one of their clients would be a dream, I couldn't even imagine working with the entire client list they have. From Nodstrom, Urban Decay, Gucci, Duke University, Nintendo, American Express, Wolfgang Puck, and motion picture clients such as The Matrix, Forrest Gump, Sleepy Hollow, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. They honestly are constantly working with the best of the best and creating work that is just unbelievable!
The most inspiring thing to me is that Tim Girvin started working as a designer by going around offering his services for free in Seattle until people started to seek him out for paid jobs. Now over 30 years later Girvin has teams in Seattle, NYC, San Francisco, and Tokyo.
Grateful for the constant inspiration and courage to dream big!
